Post St. Edmunds Pippin apple tree trade in Vancouver, Canada?
I bought a St. Edmunds Pippin a year or two ago from a local grower who heartily recommended it as the taste equal of Cox's Orange Pippin but more productive and with less disease issues. It's now a long whip, probably 3 years old.

Unfortunately I've just realized through my that it is a tip-bearer, not a spur-bearer, and is therefore won't work as an oblique cordon, and I don't have room for it to grow as a standard apple. So if anyone would like to trade for a SPUR-bearing, scab-resistant apple of the same size, I'd be keen.

St. Edmunds Pippin gets top reviews (ie "Most beautiful of all russets. Rich, pear-like flavor which reminds one of Seckel." http://www.applejournal.com/useall11.htm or "Nutty, rich, excellent when really ripe" http://derrysorchardandnursery.ca/p2_rs ... appletrees) so I'm sad to see it go but I dunno what else to do.

I'm located in Vancouver, Canada.

Thanks -- D.
