Hi, I'm pia. I'm new to planting and I have a question.
What is the best way to keep them straight? I just planted 5 fruit trees, wondering what is the best method to use to keep the trees from growing crooked, i live in the province so I have alot of wind.
Thanks!

Re: Planting fruit trees?
You could try staking them with regular tree posts. The post should go on the up-wind side of the tree.
What rootstocks are you using?

Re: Planting fruit trees?
I like to stake mine on three sides and tie them with rope which will deteriorate over time. I generally use T posts for the staking and place the stakes no less than 5 feet from the base of the tree.
