 What is the best to grow pomegranate trees?

Post What is the best to grow pomegranate trees?
Hi everyone,

I am helping my mum to plant a pomegranate tree in Aberdeen. However, we don't know what soil and fertilizer we should use to achieve maximum growth for the plant. Anyone has a clue?

Any advice would be appreciated. :)

What state, what zone, what weather what soil?

What country? I assume Aberdeen is in Scotland. Not pomegranate climate.

Aberdeen WA is not so good either. Drove Kurt Cobain away. Good clamming, though.
