We have a spot in our yard next to the driveway where we park our cars where we would like to put in a fruit tree. Is there a variety that would be suitable for that location? (Miami, FL)

Many fruits grow well in pots-I think kumquats would grow well in your area in a pot, but figs and probably many others would as well.

Something that won't drop fruit on the cars? In Florida, probably citrus would be your best bet.
