 Black gold
Hi there! I'm wondering if I can grow a "black gold" cherry variety on a Gisela 6 rootstock.
I'm not expert about cherries... Can you help me please?

 Re: Black gold
I don't see why not. People use different rootstocks for different effects. Makes sense to me. I don't know anything about the Black Gold cherry. Just match up what you want and your conditions with the characteristics of that rootstock. John S PDX OR

 Re: Black gold
I agree with John I dont see why not. The gisela 6 produces a precocious and well anchored tree that does well on many different types of soils. You should be just fine.
