 McCarver Apple
McCarver Apple I am interested to know if anyone is familiar with the existence of the McCarver Apple. Morton M. McCarver, founder of Tacoma, is said to have developed this apple. A few years ago, a librarian in the History/Genealogy section of the Tacoma Public Library told me he HAD heard of the McCarver apple, and thought there were still some in existence. He gave me the name of a Mr. Cyrus Happy to contact, which I was never able to do.
Any information will be appreciated.

 Re: McCarver Apple
Perhaps the person who holds McCarver also holds the Snowflake apple from Silverton, Oregon!
I have looked high and low for that one. Early bearing and according to legend very good tasting. I figure it must not have been distributed much.
