 adding Zinc?
Hello,
I did a leaf analysis on one of my trees, a honey crisp, and it showed a need for Nitrogen, Mag, and Zinc. I addressed the Mag. with epson salts. The nitrogen is low and I know it and don't plan on adding much....
But, how do you add Zinc to your soil? need to add it to about 50 trees.

 Re: adding Zinc?
Nitrogen can be added by supplying urea. Perhaps you can think of a convenient way to do this.
Zinc is a trace mineral. Some people assure trace minerals by making sure that their full soil food web is active. Mushrooms can also set up a wide ranging mycelium that gathers trace minerals from afar. John S PDX OR

True, but Paul Wheaton has a whole podcast and email about women peeing outdoors on permies. com.
Kind of amusing. In a way. John S PDX OR

 Re: adding Zinc?
I'm in the process of adding the zinc a soil test indicated I needed. I bought zinc sulfate, and am sprinkling it on the ground around the trees.

 Re: adding Zinc?
You could try a zinc foliar spray. Check out this link for addressing specific deficiencies in fruit trees: http://www.tfrec.wsu.edu/horticulture/nutspray.htmlChris
