 Catholic Pears
I spaded out a 5"-6" caliper Pear tree that a Nun started from seed, it is a large Pear. It doesnt ripen well on the tree, the center of the Pear gets mushy. It is best picked green and then allowed to ripen on the counter in the kitchen. The branches of this tree are ver thorny, utmost care needs to be taken when picking or pruning on this tree. What kind of Pear do you think this is?.

 Re: Catholic Pears
That sounds like a European pear. If she started it from seed it is one of a kind. So unless she or somebody else named it, it doesn't have one.
