 Loquat seeds...
Are the seeds from my loquats really going to kill me or the birds that eat them?

 Re: Loquat seeds...
I would plant them and grow more loquats. Worked for me. Apple seeds, which are related, are also poisonous. John S PDX OR

 Re: Loquat seeds...
John, are you saying you are able to grow and harvest Loquats at home outdoors?

 Re: Loquat seeds...
I have not harvested the fruit. The plant usually gets attacked by diseases this time of year, and then sort of recovers from about July to October. What I am saying is that I planted the seeds from a loquat I harvested off a tree in Marin County, California and one of them grew from a seed in my yard into a small tree that is in my yard. I am growing it mostly because I think the long, evergreen leaves look cool and because it reminds me of my brother. I don't know if I will get fruit from it. If I do it probably won't fruit reliably. John S PDX OR
