Hi everybody, I'm new to this site. Does anybody knows were I can get 50 trees each of 3 varieties used to make hard cider and then Calvados (apple brandy)?
I'm looking for Binet Rouge, Frequing Rouge and Petit jaune, ideally on MM106 or similar.
I just read about the scion exchange but I don't know if anybody can even provide scions of the varieties I seek. At least nobody living in the U.S. The French have got those varieties and more but I can't even begin to imagine what importing live plants would be like with La Migra. Then also I figure this is Rome for a while longer, we should be able to find anything we need or want.

Re: apple trees for hard cider and calvados
Where are you located? We at Bull Run Cider do custom grafting and can graft the first two varieties you are looking for in addition to a number of other cider apples. E-mail me off list and I can send you more information.
