Post Early flowering and ripening
I noticed that my Northstar pie cherry and Montmorency pie cherry are getting ripe. This is about 1 month before they usually ripen. However, my sweet cherry tree, which normally ripens with it, is a long way off. I also noticed that my pineapple guava is flowering now, when it usually flowers in July. Is anyone else noticing early flowering or ripening this year?

Post Re: Early flowering and ripening Eastern Washington grower thinks his crop is three weeks early this year.

From what I see here in the Seattle area I would say two weeks early for many of the crops.

Look to be able to buy some decent local home-grown cherries right about now.
