Post raspberry ripening abnormally
This question pertains to the way some of my raspberries are ripening. The first part of the crop ripened with uniform redness of color in the berry. Now into the third week of ripening, many of the berries have uneven ripening. Part of an individual berry will be perfectly normal appearing but another part of the same berry may only be beginning to show redness.

I have tried searching the internet for clues to this problem but without success so far. I doubt that this is a new phenomenon. Do you have any suggestions?

PS Also I would like to change my email address to I no longer use the old one

Could you be experiencing white druplet syndrome?

The high temperatures in western Oregon recently lead to this in my patch of raspberries. I experience it as groups of white druplets in my tulameen raspberries. In my experience , green berries are affected (not red ones) so you only notice it a few days after the temperatures ramp up and the berries ripen

Thanks Chris, I'm not acquainted with this phenomenon but the weather pattern we have had in my yard would fit your description. The last few days have been in the 90's so I will watch for a continuation of the problem.
