Can anyone suggest a source for pheromone traps for cherry fruit fly? Can't find any here. I'm in Eugene but could order. Thanks, Ann

I do not know of a pheromone trap for cherry fruit fly. But... some research was done a few years ago and it was found that a red four (4) inch ball coated with tanglefoot or other sticky stuff traped more cherry fruit flies tha other sized traps.
Since the cherry furit fly is a cousin of the apple maggot fly, I am currently (as I type) using a four inch red ball with the apple maggot attractant attached to see if I can catch more cherry fruit flies.
So far no results.
