I would like to locate a good source (hopefully a Member here) for the small Champagne Grapes. They come in more than one type and are good for fresh eating.

Last time I saw them growing in the ground was at a CRFG Member's collection in San Diego. Last time I saw a bunch of them for sale was (believe it or not...) a Walmart in Grenada Mississippi in the specialty area for about $3 a pound.

There are lots of things I hope to find. We finally have a yard to plant in here in SE Portland. Good rooted cuttings of Blueberries are also high on the list. Figs are a must - and did very well for us in black buckets 1/2 planted on the south side of the house in San Diego... I look forward to meeting the membership and am joining.

Black Corinth or Champagne grapes are difficult to grow in OR because they are very susceptible to powdery mildew.

Figs (Desert King and Brown Turkey)do well here.

We can grow a lot of different types of fruits in Western Oregon, but you can't compare San Diego to Portland at all.

CRFG offers a lot more exotic stuff that can't be grown in our climate.
