8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Summer is keeping us all busy; fruits and berries are getting ready to be picked, gardens are filling the pantry, weeds are out-pacing the ability to keep them in check so it’s time for a break and time to share a wonderful potluck!
We start our day with the bud grafting class at 9 a.m., followed by a short demonstration on summer pruning. At the noon hour we will have fruit to taste from the arboretum and from the pear repository in Corvallis. These tasty appetizers begin one of the best potlucks you can imagine.
Please join us!
HOS will provide refreshments. Please bring something delicious to share. Salads, desserts, appetizers, entrees, snacks it is always a wonderful smorgasbord of food. Remember to bring your own table service (plate, silverware, utensils, etc.). If you cannot join us for the potluck (we hope you can), then consider stopping in for a visit and look around our wonderful arboretum during the “Open House” from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. There are fruit trees, berry bushes, insectaries, demonstration gardens, honey bees and mason bees all for you to enjoy and learn about.
