Join Tonia, HOS arboretum manager, for 12 hours of hands on, guided pruning instruction.
January 26th, February 9th and 23rd from 10am till 2pm

• Homeowners who have a few fruit trees, but are still timid about pruning
• Students who want to gain experience and build their resumes
• Landscape professionals who want to increase their marketability
• Certified arborists and tree-care workers who want to expand their knowledge too include proper techniques for fruit tree pruning. ISA CEU’s are available for this course.
Species that will be covered: Apple(tip and spur bearing), Pears (Asian and European), Blueberries, Fig, Persimmon, Grapes, Kiwi, Quince. We will have a discussion about stone fruits, but will not be working with them.
The class size is very limited to allow for more individualized instructruction.

Cost: $125 for HOS members, volunteers, or CCC students
$150 for non-members
