6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Location
HOS Arboretum

Spring is a great time to divide your overcrowded perennials.  We’ve got quite a few here at the arboretum, desperately needing to be rejuvenated and thinned out.  Spend the day learning the best methods for dividing a variety of plant species.  We would like to share some of our divisions and encourage you to bring plants to trade with other class participants.

Here is a sampling of some of the plants we’ll have available: comfrey, douglas spirea, heelbore, siberian iris, bearded iris, elephant garlic, mint…there’s probably a few more that I am forgetting.

There is a suggested $10 donation to the Home Orchard Society.

RAIN or SHINE event, please dress appropriately.  This is a HANDS-ON class, please bring hand pruners,  hori hori, spading fork or shovel.  A rootsaw would come in hand as well.

Once you are on the CCC campus, follow the signs to the BROWN parking lot located off of Inskeep Drive..
